The HR Directorate is looking to immediately fill several vacancies in the areas of Staffing Operations, Recruitment and Collaborative Staffing, and Labour Relations.
• Staffing Operations provides staffing consultation services to hiring managers. The team is responsible for providing advice and guidance to managers which includes understanding their business and delivering immediate and long term reliable solutions to all of their staffing needs. HR Advisors are available to partner with managers throughout the staffing process to explain assessment approaches and steps as well as relevant policies and legislation. To hiring managers the Staffing Operations team is their connection to attracting top talent with the skills, experience and values needed to achieve their business objectives.
• Recruitment & Collaborative Staffing implements new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting), researches and chooses job advertising options, and coordinates with departmental managers to forecast future hiring needs. The HR Advisors participate in job fairs and career events and also build the professional network through relationships with HR professionals, universities and colleges, and other partners. As for Collaborative Staffing, the team take an effective and strategic approach to staffing. Through the team, the department has ready access to pools of candidates, and capacity is being built, thereby maximizing operational efficiencies, speeding staffing over the long term, and potentially reducing staffing related costs.
• Labour Relations provides professional client service to managers with respect to the interpretation of collective agreements, union management consultations, grievances, discipline and much more. The team offers a working environment that is not only fun and dynamic, but also collaborative, inclusive, and respectful. Labour Relations not only promotes a harassment free workplace, the team practices it and prides themselves on leading by example and acting with professionalism and integrity at all times. The team works as a strong unit to continuously improve and provide top quality service while balancing a workplace that knows how to laugh and have a good time.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, law or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

- Our pre-selection process starts immediately with your application form.
