DND and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) are together the largest federal government department, and the only department where military members work alongside civilians. Assistant Deputy Minister (Human Resources – Civilian) is a national Human Resources team providing services to civilian and military clients across Canada.

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to staff a Learning and Performance Management Advisor in Halifax:

A pool of qualified candidates may be established within the Department of National Defence and may be used to staff similar positions with various language profiles.

A random and/or top down selection of candidates may be used in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the assessment process.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
EX1. Experience in modifying or adapting, and facilitating adult learning activities.
EX2. Experience networking and establishing partnerships with clients and stakeholders.
