Intent of the process

The process may be used to staff similar positions with Indigenous Services Canada with various language requirements and profiles.

All federal organizations listed in the Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) may use this selection process to staff similar positions in their organization.

Your résumé.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience in the development and implementation of programs or services related to the advancement of Indigenous communities.

Experience in engaging and consulting with Indigenous organizations, other government departments, other levels of government or the private sector.

Significant* experience in developing and implementing a management framework, a business plan or an operational plan.

*Significant is understood to mean the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various complex related
activities for approximately two (2) years.

Experience in managing: human resources, finance and a budget.
