EDUCATION:
ED1. Successful completion of two (2) years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
EXPERIENCES:
EX1. Experience in at least three (3) of the following areas in the context of IM/IT solutions or services:
• requirements analysis;
• design;
• development;
• testing;
• maintaining and support;
EX2. Experience in preparing technical documentation, system documentation or user documentation;
EX3. Experience analyzing, troubleshooting and recommending solutions to address system incidents and problems;

EXPERIENCES:
AE1. Experience in programming for and/or configuring the BMC Remedy product suite;
AE2. Experience in software design and development using Adobe LiveCycle ES4 including all of the following programming languages and technologies :
• XFA
• JavaScript
• Adobe LiveCycle ES4 WorkBench (i.e. Process Design, Form Design);
AE3. Experience with Object/Relational Mapping (ORM) tool such as but not limited to Hibernate, EclipseLink, TopLink, when developing Java based application;
AE4. Experience in developing applications using SOAP/REST Web Services;
AE5. Experience in developing SQL scripts on an MS SQL Server 2008 or higher platform;
AE6. Experience in developing Web applications using Government of Canada Web Standards and Frameworks (e.g. CLF2, Web usability, Web interoperability and Web accessibility, Web Experience Toolkit(WET));
AE7. Experience in developing and designing Java EE enterprise applications using Java Web Frameworks, such as but not limited to JBoss Seam and Spring MVC;
AE8. Experience in SAP ERP 6.0 development using ABAP, BSP, Web DynPro and/or SAPUI5;
AE9. Experience with the development and maintenance of solutions in the following SAP modules: FI-CO, FM, MM or PS.
AE10. Experience in analyzing, designing, programming and maintaining computer applications using PeopleCode programming language;
AE11. Experience developing or maintaining applications using PeopleTools technologies.
AE12. Experience with XML Publisher for PeopleSoft Enterprise;
AE13 – Experience with the technical operations support of PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 or higher environment including maintaining, troubleshooting and resolving problems in a PeopleSoft Internet Architecture;
AE14 – Experience performing the functions of a Business Analyst in an IM or IT environment which includes the following activities:
• planning the execution of business analysis activities;
• designing, modeling and validating business process flows;
• eliciting, analyzing, validating, documenting and prioritizing business needs and requirements;
• assessing proposed solutions against the business needs, anticipated business outcomes and requirements;
KNOWLEDGE:
AK1. Knowledge of relational databases concepts including writing and troubleshooting complex SQL statements and scripts.
The successful candidate may be required to work overtime (evening, weekends and statutory holidays) on occasion.
