Intent of the process

The immediate need is to fill a permanent bilingual vacancy in Winnipeg.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established within Transport Canada and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (including casual/term/indeterminate) or various security profiles (Secret or Reliability).

Education
ED1: Successful completion of secondary school education or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience
EX1: Recent* experience in delivering services to internal or external clients.

EX2: Recent* and significant** experience in using a variety of computer software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

*Recent experience is defined as gained within the last 4 years.
**Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally acquired when working in the field full time for at least two (2) years.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Education
AED1: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

AED2: Successful completion of courses in the Human Resource Field from a recognized post-secondary institution.

Degree equivalency

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
AEX1: Experience in providing human resources support services in Staffing and/or Labour Relations in the federal public service.

AEX2: Experience working in a Human Resources environment.

AEX3: Experience using a Human Resources Management System such as: Transport Integrated Personnel System (TIPS), People Soft, or other Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

AEX4: Experience using electronic records information systems such as Records and Document Information Management System (RDIMS) or GCdocs.

AEX5: Experience in providing administrative support services.
