Degree equivalency

Experience in interpreting and applying one of the following acts:
• The Privacy Act
• Any equivalent provincial/municipal acts
• The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)

Experience in providing advice and recommendations to senior management* on Access to information and Privacy files.

Experience liaising with internal or external clients.

* Senior management is defined as: anyone above your direct supervisor

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Graduation with a degree** or college diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.

** Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., Master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.

Experience preparing Privacy statements
Experience analyzing privacy-related concerns for programs/initiatives.
Experience in the development/coordination of a Privacy Impact Assessment.
Experience interpreting and applying the Access to Information Act.
