Assessment accommodation

IMPORTANT NOTES :

At the time of your application, you will be required to complete an on-line screening questions. You will have to provide concrete examples to clearly illustrate with significant detail how you meet the education and experience requirements listed in the essential qualifications AND asset qualifications sections. To do so, you MUST proceed by using the following format:

A) Provide 1 to 2 paragraphs per criteria demonstrating that you have the required experience and how you meet the education requirement and ensure to provide concrete, clear and detailed examples.
B) Indicate the period(s) in which you performed the functions (FROM month-year TO month year)and
C) Indicate the position occupied. For experience within the Public Service, you MUST indicate the group and level i.e. AS-02.

The screening board cannot make any assumptions about your experience. It is not sufficient to say that you have the required qualifications or to list your current duties. The curriculum vitae may be used as a secondary source to confirm the experience described in the questionnaire. APPLICATIONS THAT DO NOT CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE THAT THE CANDIDATE MEETS THE SCREENING CRITERIA WILL NOT BE GIVEN FURTHER CONSIDERATION.

Intent of the process

The overall intent of the process is to fill two (2) positions indeterminately. A pool of partially qualified candidates* may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within PSPC with various language requirements and different security requirements.

*By "partially qualified pool of candidates", it means that the Second Language Evaluation will be assessed at the time of the appointment.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives. Employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma: 1. a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or 2. an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EX1. Experience in planning and coordinating accommodation, facilities project in at least two (2) of the following three (3) areas:

1- Construction Project.
2- Fit-up projects for office space.
3- Move project including the relocation of staff.

Graduation from a post-secondary institution with a diploma in Interior Design, Architectural Technology or another discipline related to the position.

Degree equivalency

AEXP1: Experience in the use of AutoCad software to design work spaces

- Be willing and able to work overtime on short notice.
- Full-time schedule requiring work outside normal office hours week-ends and overtime.
