Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis, with a linguistic profile of English essential and an RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearance.

A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP in the Regina Region on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

-A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

Degree equivalency

-Extensive* experience in the management of a museum or cultural institution.
-Experience in project management specifically in the execution of exhibits.
-Experience in the care and handling cultural properties.
-Experience in a museum or gallery setting.
-Experience with the supervision of staff.
-Experience in using Museum related database software (including but not limited to EMu).

*Extensive experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally acquired with having performed a broad range of various, complex related activities acquired over a period of approximately three (3) or more years.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

-A degree or diploma in an area of museum studies.
-Training in occupational health and safety requirements.

- Experience with managing community partnerships with stakeholders.

Conditions of employment
