This process will be used to create a pool of candidates which could be used to staff PG-06 positions within various Federal organizations across Canada.

Here's the profile sought for this position:
- Graduation with a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience (within the last 10 years) in a procurement role.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience (within the last 10 years) in providing strategic advice and presenting recommendations to management on issues or initiatives related to procurement.
- Experience in managing relationships and negotiations with multiple stakeholders (such as vendors, legal counsel, or clients) on complex* procurement issues.
- Experience in developing options and solving complex* problems related to risk management in procurement.
- Experience in supervising employees.
NOTE:
*Complex defined as procurements that contain a minimum of 3 of the following: multi-year, multi-client and stakeholders; multi-million dollar value; multi-phase technical evaluations, extensive price negotiations; multiple project and client meetings; extensive reporting; multiple procurements related to the same project; multi-disciplinary oversight; sensitive in nature; have media attention; or are transformational in nature.
