The intent of this process is to establish a pool of partially assessed candidates. Similar positions may be staffed through this process with various tenures, language profiles and/or requirements and security requirements.

Education :
- A degree from a recognized university
Experience:
- Significant* experience copyediting materials in English and in French aimed at general readers
- Significant* experience in comparative editing
- Experience in terminology research
- Experience providing writing and terminology advice to authors and/or managers
- Experience using web-based tools and common desktop applications, including MS Word
*Significant experience refers to an acceptable combination of breadth, depth, complexity of tasks that can normally be acquired in 2 years of work in the field.
Education:
- A degree from a recognized university in English/French translation, communications, or a field related to the position.
Experience:
- Experience in translation
- Experience editing or writing one or more of the following areas:
• media
• administration
• transportation/technology/science
- Experience writing or editing for the web
Bilingual - Imperative (PPC/PPC)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of writing tools and references, including Government of Canada standards and Tools
- Knowledge of the mandate of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada

- Ability to copyedit written materials for general readers in English and in French
