Work environment

Imagine you have a great business idea. It could really take off. You just need a little help. You find a few government programs, but they all sound like the same thing. It’s too complicated. Forget it.

Help change the story.

Every year governments fund hundreds of businesses, offer them experts and facilities. But if businesses can’t find the right programs, they can’t take advantage of them. We’re changing that, through a really smart digital platform and a network of Innovation Advisors across the country.

Canada is in an innovation race, and your job could be to give Canadian entrepreneurs the leg up.

As a Senior Innovation Advisor, you’d be the “face” of government to business. So you’ll need to be constantly in-the-know about all of the programs and services we offer them. You’ll need to have an eye for spotting game-changing companies. And you’ll need to be the kind of person who can work the room and spread the word about everything government can do to help entrepreneurs scale up, grow and create the jobs of the future.

You have grit. You get things done. You make things happen. Sound like you? Then we think you’d make a great addition to the Innovation Canada team.

As a Senior Innovation Advisor, your main job will be to be a driver in bringing together a customized team of government experts, strategic advice, an 18-month service plan and regular follow-up to help proven high-growth firms scale up faster.
