This process will be used to establish a pool (fully or partially qualified) of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various official language proficiencies (Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB, Bilingual Imperative CBB/CBB) with various tenures (Indeterminate,Temporary) using various staffing mechanisms (Indeterminate appointment, Term appointment, Deployment ) at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

EDUCATION
Ed1. Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
EX1. Recent* experience in coordinating and researching background information for use in the preparation of various administrative or corporate documents.
EX2. Recent* experience in providing instructions to senior management offices** on administrative processes for routing memoranda and briefing material to the Deputy Minister’s office and the Minister’s office.
EX3. Recent* experience in organizing and tracking files or documents using an electronic system.
EX4. Experience using Microsoft Office software.
EX5. Recent* experience in liaising with senior management offices**
Definitions:
* Recent experience is defined as experience acquired in the last two (2) years.
**A senior management office is defined as Director General level or above.
Asset Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE
AEX1. Experience in working in a fast-paced environment.
AEX2. Experience working in a team environment with multiple projects concurrent and short deadlines.

Please note that persons appointed to these positions must meet each essential qualification. This means that in order to qualify, candidates must obtain the pass-mark established for each of these essential qualifications. However, a person may be appointed to the position even though he/she does not meet any or all of the identified asset qualifications, operational requirements or organizational needs. Meeting these criteria is however desirable and may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
Depending on the number of candidates, volume management strategies such as, but not limited to, invoking one or more of the asset qualifications for right fit decisions and/or cut-off scores may be used for the purpose of managing applications/candidates.
Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
