Work environment

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is the Canadian national police service and an agency of the Ministry of Public Safety Canada. The RCMP hires a number of experts in various disciplines, such as finance, human resources, information management, customer service, processing and law enforcement, to name a few.

Intent of the process

The intent of this selection process is to create a pool of qualified candidates to staff term positions for six (6) months with various linguistic profiles and various security requirements. The positions are located at 155 McArthur Ave., Ottawa, Ontario.

The pool of qualified candidates could be used to staff similar positions in various locations in the National Capital Region.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.
