Intent of the process

While the immediate objective of this process is to staff three positions until March 31, 2020 with a possibility of extension, this process may also be used to create a BBB/BBB bilingual imperative pool, and a French or English essential pool to staff positions of various durations (permanent or temporary) at the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer. As this selection process may be used to establish pools for future hiring, we encourage all candidates seeking this kind of experience to apply.

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, industrial or labour relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, educational sciences, social sciences, sociology or any other field pertaining to the work to be performed.

Certificate in occupational health and safety

Degree equivalency

Experience using an automated human resources system such as HRIS, PeopleSoft, etc.

Experience in supporting advisors for labour relations, staffing or classification

Experience in coordinating information sessions or administering various written exams

Knowledge of federal or provincial legislation in the area of occupational health and safety

Conditions of employment
