STREAM 1: Fisheries and Aquaculture Management Officer (CO-01)
Recent and significant* experience in conducting and writing studies, projects or analysis related to a natural resource industry.
Recent and significant* experience in working with multiple stakeholders and establishing effective relationships.
Recent and significant* experience in coordinating and planning key initiatives or managing projects.
*”Recent and significant" refers to the depth and breadth of experience associated with the performance of a broad range of related activities which were primarily the candidate's responsibility. It will be assessed on the basis of the scope, complexity and the diversity of the work performed as well as the autonomy required of the candidate to perform the activities. This level of experience is normally achieved through the performance of relevant duties on a regular and continuous basis for a period of at least two (2) years within the past five (5) years.

STREAM 2: Senior Fisheries and Aquaculture Management Officer (CO-02)
-Recent and significant* experience in developing or implementing natural resource sector development or market access strategies.
-Recent and significant* experience in providing strategic advice orally and in writing to senior management** on complex*** industry issues.
-Recent and significant* experience in leading a part of a program activity involving multiple stakeholders, including federal government departments/agencies and/or provincial/territorial governments.
-Recent and significant* experience in preparing discussion papers, proposals, briefing materials or other documentation for senior management**.
-Experience in leading multi-stakeholder committees or working groups.

Graduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field relevant to the work to be performed.
Experience working with or within the fisheries/aquaculture industry.
Experience in conducting industry analysis (tracking and analyzing socio-economic and technical issues) in Canada as they relate to aquaculture, agriculture or the fisheries industries.
