The Human Resources Services Branch at the Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) is on the lookout for dynamic, visionary and talented senior business analysts who are interested in joining a team charged with innovating and transforming the Human Resources business. The job will enable you to broaden your horizon and enhance your career in areas of leadership, management, human resources, finance, planning, design and Information technology. -140 Portage, Gatineau, Quebec

Intent of the process

A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff positions with various tenures (Acting, Assignment, Deployment, Indeterminate, Determinate, Secondment), various security profiles (Reliability, Secret) and various linguistic requirements (English or French essential, Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB and CBC/CBC) within ESDC.

Degree equivalency

In what way did you gain the following experience:

-Recent* and significant** experience in business analysis (that is, working with clients to define, document, analyze and present detailed business requirements).
-Experience in data or process modelling.
-Experience analyzing data to identify data anomalies, documenting findings and developing strategies for correction and resolution of root causes.
-Experience providing advice and guidance to management (manager level and above).

*Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the last five (5) years.
**Significant experience is defined as the experience normally acquired by performing the function for a period of approximately two (2) years.

-Experience troubleshooting IT system problems, providing advice and taking corrective actions.
-Experience developing and delivering presentations.

STEP 2 – SHOW US
