Assessment accommodation

A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff identical or similar positions within Library and Archives Canada using various languages requirements and/or various tenures and/or various security requirement according to the positions being staffed.

Education:
Diploma from a post-secondary program in sound engineering or radio broadcasting or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience :
*Significant and **recent experience in a professional audio broadcast environment or doing audio post-production or audio conservation work.

*Significant experience is defined as having the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed activities which would have been acquired over a period of one year
** Recent experience means within the last three years

*Significant and **recent experience digitizing audio recordings including ¼” open reel audio tape, audio cassettes and audio discs.

*Significant experience is defined as having the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed activities which would have been acquired over a period of one year
** Recent experience means within the last five (5) years
