Information on accommodation for persons with disabilities
Participate in the field preparation, seeding, maintenance, application of fertilizer, harvesting, and processing of Agronomy experimental material. Operate and maintain agricultural and specialized plot equipment of the Agronomy program. Assist with training summer and coop students in the operation of scientific equipment and protocols for maintaining agronomy and other field experiments. Maintain a daily diary summarising current activities and progress of assigned tasks. Input data into hand held computers for supervisor to organize and analyze.

Immediate need: 1 full-time temporary position in Lethbridge, Alberta (duration of 3 years).

Experience processing seed samples (e.g. weighing, sorting, drying, NIR-protein, test and kernel weights).
Experience in the setup and maintenance of small plot and various agronomy trials.
Experience working in an agricultural research setting.
