The intent of this process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates inclusive of Public Service (PS) employees and Civilian Members (CM); for various positions with various tenures.
Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.
Should a PS be found qualified and selected for appointment, notification regarding the PS appointment will be posted accordingly on www.canada.ca/government-jobs.

A secondary school diploma (typically completion of grade 12) or employer-approved alternatives.
Experience applying policies and procedures
Experience in preparing written reports and correspondence
Experience in providing advice and guidance to various internal and external clients, including management
Experience applying policies and procedures related to the personnel security process
Experience entering data on PeopleSoft
Experience working with CPIC, NCDB, or PROS, NARMS, PIP
Experience in file maintenance
Experience working in a policing environment
Experience in the application of a variety of windows-based computer and software programs
Experience in data entry and conducting research using a database
Willing and able to work overtime if required
Willing and able to travel via commercial or government services if required
