Our mandate is to modernize, secure, and support critical IT programs and services for Canadians. Procurement and Vendor Relations (PVR) is the procurement directorate for Shared Services Canada. From its creation 7 years ago, PVR has grown into a large and innovative procurement organization with 4 divisions working in support of SSC’s IT mandate.

Intent of the process

This process will be used to create a pool of partially or fully qualified candidates which could be used to staff PG-01 positions with various profiles, various security profiles, and various tenures within Shared Services in the National Capital Region only.

Job offers resulting from this process will be for either indeterminate, specified period (term) appointments or casual employment.

EDUCATION

AED1: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in a field related to the position such as; procurement, administration, finance, accounting, law or commerce, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

AEXP1: Experience providing advice to clients on procurement policies or procedures;
AEXP2: Experience in the procurement or contract management of goods and/or services or constructions or supply chain management;
AEXP3: Experience conducting procurement related activities in the Federal Government;
AEXP4: Experience in negotiations;
AEXP5: Experience in electronic file management;
AEXP6: Significant* experience reviewing and analyzing documents;
AEXP7: Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning System such as SAP;
AEXP8: Supervisory experience.
