Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is the centre of action for government research and policy regarding energy, mining, forestry and earth sciences. It has an exciting mandate that is central to Government of Canada priorities. Our organization is dynamic, creative and innovative.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in natural science or engineering.
Experience in planning, managing and delivery of geoscientific research.
Experience in liaising with senior officials and technical experts at various levels in government, industry associations, private companies and nongovernment organizations.
Experience in directly managing human and financial resources.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge of the political, economic and social issues within the region and the impact on the Geological Survey of Canada/Lands and Minerals Sector/Natural Resources Canada.
Knowledge of earth sciences, particularly its relevance and application to the responsible development of natural resources.
Knowledge of how the Geological Survey of Canada/Lands and Minerals Sector activities contribute to the priorities of government within the mandate of the department.

Asset Education:
Graduation with a Masters or Doctorate from a recognized postsecondary institution natural science or engineering.
