The intent of this selection process is to fill two (2) positions, one on an indeterminate basis and 1 (one) for a 2 year term basis within the Corporate Support Services Division.
A pool of fully assessed candidates may be established to staff identical or similar positions within Statistics Canada with various language requirements (French Essential, English Essential, Bilingual imperative BBB/BBB) and various security requirements (Reliability, secret). These positions may be staffed for different tenure of employment (indeterminate, acting, term, assignment and secondment).

*Significant experience refers to the depth and breadth of the experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities, which would have been acquired approximately on a period of one (1) years or more.
**Recent means the experience that was gained no more than three (3) years in the past.

- Candidates who have been assessed and found to have met all essential qualifications may update their Second Language Evaluation (SLE) results for as long as the pool(s) is/are valid. Please note that candidates can undergo SLE testing only once within the context of a selection process; any update to a candidate's linguistic profile must be as a result of subsequent SLE testing done outside of the scope of this selection process.

- Candidates must meet the essential qualifications to be appointed to a position. However, a person may be appointed to the position even though he or she does not meet any or all of the asset qualifications, operational requirements, or organizational needs. Notwithstanding, please note that meeting these criteria may be desirable and may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
