Intent of the process

A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at Natural Resources Canada with various tenures (determinate period or indeterminate), various language requirements (English Essential and Bilingual) and profile(s) (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC, etc.), various security requirements (reliability or secret), various conditions of employment and for various locations.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, experience or training.

Degree equivalency

Experience in analyzing issues, providing financial and human resources services at a division or program level to senior management*, including trend analysis, planning and reporting;
Significant** experience in preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Experience overseeing, coordinating and collaborating with subject matter experts for issues at a division or program level;
Experience using a financial accounting system, such as SAP;
Significant** experience producing tables, graphs and financial reports in spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel;
Experience supervising employees.

*Senior management is defined as director level and above.

** Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience which is normally associated with two (2) years of experience.
