The Finance and Administration Branch (FAB) from PSPC provides leadership to the Department in the delivery of financial management, accommodation and procurement initiatives.

EDUCATION
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics AND experience related to positions in the Financial Management Group.
Holding one of more of the following recognized professional accounting designations: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified General Accountant (CGA).
EXPERIENCE
Significant experience in leading risk-based audits or internal control assessments, including planning, execution and reporting
Experience in Information Technology (IT) audits and Assessment of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and/or IT applications controls
Experience in making recommendations to senior management
Experience in managing or supervising employees
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
Information on language requirements
KNOWLEDGE

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
CIA professional designation
CISA, CISM or CITP professional designation or equivalent
ASSET EXPERIENCE
Experience in payroll or pay system auditing or pay system internal controls.
Experience in leadership and change management
Experience in preparation of briefing material and presentations to Director General level and higher and Audit Committees
Experience with TeamMate and/or PeopleSoft SIGMA
Secret security clearance
