Intent of the process

This selection process will initially be used to staff one indeterminate position. A pool of qualified candidates will be created which MAY be used to staff future term (temporary) and indeterminate (permanent) positions.

"Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

• *Recent and **significant experience in real property transactions (i.e. leasing, acquisitions, or disposals).
• Significant experience in client consultation and liaison (i.e. identifying requirements, making use of networks and partnerships, representing the organization on interdisciplinary working groups)
• Experience in real property financial management and analysis (i.e. participating in investment analysis process, interpreting data on current market trends, diagnosing problems and assessing risk).
• Experience in real property contract management (i.e. setting terms and conditions of agreements, analyzing and recommending options, monitoring performance and reporting results).

*Recent experience is normally defined as having been acquired within the last five years. **Significant experience is defined as having the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various, related activities. This experience would normally have been acquired over a period of two or more years.
