Work environment

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) (formerly known as Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is the engine that powers the Government of Canada. We support the daily operations of roughly 106 federal departments and agencies. By focusing on what we do best - providing innovative common services to the government - we help departments focus on what they do best: serving Canadians.

PSPC plays an important role in the daily operations of the Government of Canada as a key provider of services for federal departments and agencies. It supports them in the achievement of their mandated objectives as their central purchasing agent, linguistic authority, real property manager, treasurer, accountant, and integrity adviser, and pay and pension administrator. The department's vision is to excel in government operations, and our strategic outcome and mission is to deliver high-quality, central programs and services that ensure sound stewardship on behalf of Canadians and meet the program needs of federal institutions.

The PSPC team consists of industry trained professionals who work as a team to keep all their facilities operating safely and efficiently by responding to maintenance items on a regular basis.
