Assessments will be conducted at locations of the employer's choice (DFO/CCG offices) and may require candidates to travel to the assessment location. Candidates will be required to pay for their own travel expenses when invited for assessment.
The intent of this process is to create a fully assessed pool of candidates to staff positions, of various tenures (permanent and temporary) in St. John’s, NL, Dartmouth, NS, Ottawa, ON, Sarnia, ON, and Victoria, BC.

A response to a text question addressing the following:
Education:
• Possession of a post-secondary school diploma or degree in drafting, civil engineer technology, architectural technology, electronics engineering technology, naval architecture, or information management, or an **acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
** An acceptable combination of education, training and experience is defined as a minimum of a secondary school diploma, formal training in drafting, and a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a drafting, engineering, architectural, or information management discipline.
Experience:
• Experience using computer aided drafting software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia or Creo.
• Experience providing Information Management support to clients in either in the acquisition, custodianship, distribution, archiving or deletion of information.
Experience:
• Experience working in a drafting discipline, such as civil technology, architectural technology or naval architecture.
• Experience in developing, advising, delivering or having an oversight responsibility within a Life Cycle Management System.
• Experience researching and analyzing information and providing recommendations.
