The intent of this selection process is to staff an EC-04, Bilingual imperative BBB/BBB position with a secret security clearance on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of qualified candidates may be created and may be used to staff identical or similar Bilingual imperative positions at Environment and Climate Change Canada with the following tenures: indeterminate, deployment, acting, assignment or secondment and extensions, in the National Capital Region. Note the security profile may vary depending on the position.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EX1: Experience in preparing documents such as policy / position papers, regulatory proposals, presentations, briefing notes, correspondence, reports, research papers, or environmental scans.
EX2: Experience conducting analysis and making recommendations for strategic or operational policy issues.
EX3: Experience engaging and maintaining relationships with internal or external partners or stakeholders.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

K1: Knowledge of the mandate, priorities and programs of Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).

A5: Experience implementing policies and practices in the context of environmental assessments.
