Intent of the process

A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established through this process in order to fill identical or similar positions with various security requirements (reliability, secret) and various linguistic profile (bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC) within the Department of Canadian Heritage.

Diploma (college or university) from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience in developing and coordinating e-communication projects.
Experience in the coordination and development of online videos.
Experience in providing technical advice for web related issues, and coordinating solutions with subject matter experts.
Experience in leading working groups.

Knowledge of project management principles.
Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) standards.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

Degree from a recognized university in communications, marketing, project management or digital media.

Degree equivalency

Experience in creating and monitoring work plans.
Experience in coordinating Information Technology (IT) projects.

Knowledge of CCI and CHIN’s mandate and business lines.
Knowledge of the Canadian museum community.
Knowledge of the Government of Canada Web Standards for Canada.ca and their impact on the management of website content.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Willing and able to work overtime occasionally on short notice.
