ANTICIPATORY: A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff similar positions with various language requirements (English Essential, French essential or Bilingual) and profiles (BBB/BBB and CBC/CBC), conditions of employment (e.g.security requirements) and/or tenures (indeterminate, specified period, acting appointment and extension of acting appointment), within Environment and Climate Change Canada in the National Capital Region.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, electrical/electronic or environmental/chemical engineering
or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
Experience in testing of engines and vehicles.
Experience in analysis and reporting of data from scientific experiments.
Experience in development of specifications and designs for specialized test equipment.
Experience in organizing and conducting technical projects and quality control programs.
Experience in testing vehicles in a laboratory.
Experience in measuring exhaust emissions.
English essential
