Manager Supervision Stream:
The Supervision Division supervises federally regulated financial entities to ensure they comply with their market conduct obligations. They are responsible for the day-to-day interactions with these financial entities.
Manager Promotion Stream:
The Policy and Promotion Division conducts research initiatives, including industry reviews, provides policy advice to the Commissioner, and promotes the work of the branch - through interpretations of legislation to the industry and through various social media channels for consumers.
FCAC is a Separate Agency that offers the same pension and benefits plans as the Core Federal Public Service. In addition, you will benefit from a minimum of four (4) weeks of vacation leave per year, earn a competitive salary, and be eligible for an annual performance pay. We have our own classification system (RE and REX).

EDU Degree from a recognized university in commerce, business administration, law or economics, or an acceptable combination of a university degree and experience relevant to the position.
All Streams:
E1 Experience managing or supervising employees
E2 Experience interpreting or applying legislation and/or regulations
E3 Experience advising executives (at least EX-1 or equivalent) on complex, regulatory and/or legal issues.
E4 Experience in writing reports and/or briefing material (e.g. memorandums, notes, presentations) for executives (EX-01 or equivalent), including recommendations.
E5 Experience in collaborating and maintaining partnerships.
Manager Supervision Stream:
E6 Recent* and significant** experience in conducting investigations, audits or examinations, related to financial services.
Manager Promotion Stream:
E7 Recent* and significant** experience undertaking policy analysis or research
