AS-02 positions will be staffed first and AS-01 positions could be staffed later.
Positions will be staffed in Gatineau, Qc and appointments in others locations could be considered later.
A pool of partially or fully assessed candidates will be established and will be created to staff similar positions at the same group and level, various language requirements, on an indeterminate or temporary basis within Environment and Climate Change Canada.

AS-01/AS-02 - Education:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
- AS-01: Experience in the provision of compensation and benefits services .
- AS-02: Significant and recent experience* in the provision of compensation and benefits services.
*Significant and recent experience means approximately 12 months of experience within the last two (2) years in processing compensation transactions (not simply creating or cancelling cases).
- AS-01/AS-02: Experience in the interpretation and the application of various legislation, regulations, collective agreements and procedures related to compensation and benefits.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
- AS-01: Experience in the provision of compensation and benefits services for Federal Public Service employees.
- AS-02: Recent and significant* experience in the provision of compensation and benefits services for Federal Public Service employees.
*Significant and recent experience means approximately 12 months of experience within the last two (2) years in processing compensation transactions (not simply creating or cancelling cases).
- AS-01/AS-02:Experience in the interpretation and the application of various legislation, regulations, collective agreements and procedures related to compensation and benefits in the Federal Public Service.
- AS-01/AS-02:Experience in using the Phoenix pay system.
- AS-01/AS-02: Experience in processing a variety of pay transactions in the Phoenix pay system (e.g. hire/re-hire, promotions, transfers…)
