A pool of qualified candidates will be established from this process which may be used to staff identical or similar positions within Environment and Climate Change Canada in Burlington, ON; Toronto, ON and Winnipeg, MB with various tenures, language requirements or profiles, and conditions of employment.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in at least three (3) of the following:
--- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center.
--- Experience in receipt, issue, maintenance and storage of goods or equipment.
--- Experience shipping and receiving goods.
--- Experience operating a forklift (lift truck or reach truck with retractable mast).
--- Experience in storage and handling of Hazardous Materials.
Experience using warehouse management system software or a computerized inventory system.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification Dangerous Goods Transport (TDG – Road, Air, Marine).
Experience using SAP software – Inventory and Warehouse Management Module.
Experience in Hazardous Waste handling.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be willing and able to perform physical tasks such as, but not limited to, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, crouching, etc.
• Willing and able to be exposed to dust, gas fumes from vehicles, fumes from chemicals and to all weather conditions when working outdoors.
• Willing and able to work in a noisy warehouse environment with minimal supervision
• Willing and able to work indoors and/or outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Willing and able to lift up to 20kg in accordance with safe work practices

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of health and safety practices applicable to a warehouse including WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Regulations.
ABILITIES:
