OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Eligibility for acceptable registration or for a license to practice as a professional occupational therapist in a province or territory of Canada. (Note: Eligibility for the above must be met upon appointment but not at point of application. Applicants should be in their final year of study or have completed the required education.)
EXPERIENCE
Recent Experience in providing occupational therapy services. (Recent is defined as having taken place within five years from the date of application.)

EXPERIENCE
Experience working in a correctional forensic environment
Experience providing Occupational Therapy services to clients with psychiatric/mental health disorders
Experience providing Occupational Therapy services to clients with cognitive deficits, which may include brain injury, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
Experience providing Occupational Therapy services to geriatric clients
Experience providing Occupational Therapy services to clients with physical/medical conditions & deficits
Experience providing Occupational Therapy services to behaviourally challenged clients
Note: Candidates may be required to meet any of the asset qualifications, the operational requirements or the organizational needs, depending on the requirements of the specific position being staffed.
Reliability Status security clearance
Proof of Registration and the continued registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
