Education:
• Successful completion of a post secondary program in an Information Technology (IT) related field or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Experience:
• Recent* and significant** experience in using Maximo, MAINTelligence or comparable Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Systems;
• Experience in administering programs or projects or organizing activities in support of an organization's goals and objectives;
• Experience in the creation and documentation of Service Operation (Information Technology Infrastructure Library - ITIL) processes, procedures and work instructions.
* Recent is defined as within the past 2 years.
** Significant is defined as daily use.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Change Management process;
• Knowledge of Life Cycle Materiel Management (LCMM) principles;
• Knowledge of the Canadian Coast Guard’s Programs.
Abilities:
• Ability to interpret functional requirements and propose/develop solutions;
• Ability to identify and analyze issues and recommend solutions to senior management;
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet tight schedules.
Personal Suitability:

Education:
• University degree in an Information Technology (IT) or Engineering discipline;
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification;
• Certificate of competency as a Marine Engineer second class or higher.
Experience:
• Experience in any phase of asset Life Cycle Materiel Management (LCMM);
• Experience in the creation, documentation and delivery of training material;
• Experience in coordinating or supervising human resources.

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices.
Operational Requirements:
• Occasional travel within Canada;
• Occasional need to work overtime.
