In the position, you will work with our outstanding community partners - Community Futures offices in Manitoba, the Womens’ Enterprise Centre of Manitoba, the Economic Development Council for Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities, and others, to support existing and budding entrepreneurs to grow their business. You will work with rural and Northern organizations to address pressing issues in their communities. If these activities appeal to you, we would be happy to meet you.

Your résumé.
University degree or a recognized professional accounting designation.
Experience in the following areas:
Supporting the growth of communities through local or regional economic development planning, or business development
Developing, assessing, and implementing community, infrastructure, business, or economic development programs or services.
Evaluating economic development, business development or related project proposals, applications for funding, or business plans
Developing and sustaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance economic development or business development initiatives or projects.
Various language requirements

Knowledge of Government of Canada and WD programs and services, and how these support community economic development, and/or business development.
Knowledge of Manitoba’s economic strengths, opportunities and challenges (rural and urban) from a community economic development or business development perspective.
