Information on accommodation for persons with disabilities
As the manager, you will be responsible for IM-IT business analysis and business intelligence services at FCAC. These responsibilities include:
- The production of business analysis deliverables and frameworks (requirement documents, business cases);
- The production of business intelligence deliverables and frameworks (specific reports, corporate dashboard);
- The management of IM-IT projects (RDIMS upgrade, Cognos upgrade, etc.); and
- The management of IM-IT resources and budget.
FCAC is a separate agency that offers the same pension and benefits plans as the core federal public service. This selection process may be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates, which could be used to staff similar or identical positions with various linguistic profiles, security profiles and tenures.

Your résumé.
Degree from a recognized university with an acceptable specialization in Information Technology, Business Administration, Commerce, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed; OR An acceptable combination* of education and experience.
* An acceptable combination is defined as a College diploma and at least three (3) years of relevant work experience OR a High school diploma and ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
E1 Significant* experience developing, implementing, maintaining and promoting business analysis frameworks, best practices, standards, procedures, tools and/or templates
E2 Significant* experience eliciting, documenting and managing business requirements, including functional, non-functional and/or data and business analytics requirements in an IM-IT environment
E3 Recent** experience preparing business cases and conducting option analysis and cost-benefits assessments
E4 Recent** experience managing financial and human resources
E5 Recent** experience planning, designing and managing internal services
*Significant is defined as an experience acquired over a period of three (3) years within the last five (5) years.
**Recent is defined as an experience obtained within the last 5 years.
AE1 Experience with Business Intelligence, Data Mining or Data Visualization Tools such as Cognos, SAS, Microsoft Power BI
AE2 Experience in project management involving multidisciplinary project teams
AE3 Experience creating Use Case documentation and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams including process diagrams
AE4 Experience in developing and executing system and user acceptance testing strategies, plans or scripts
AE5 Experience designing and producing reports and dashboards
AE6 Experience verifying collected data and assessing data quality
AE7 Experience designing, implementing or maintaining information or data architectures, including data models
AE8 Experience developing training material and delivering training
