Work environment

Do you want to be part of a dynamic organization that promotes a continuous learning environment; provides interesting and challenging developmental opportunities?

With over 15,000 employees working across Canada the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is Canada's second largest law enforcement organization, working 24/7 to protect Canada's borders by preventing high-risk people and goods from crossing into Canada while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is currently hiring clerical and/or administrative employees for the Prairie Region that includes smaller rural ports of entry in communities across southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

CBSA employees who work at smaller rural ports of entry are either from the area or have adopted the country lifestyle, enjoying agriculture, ranching, and outdoor activities the area offers, such as hiking, fishing, snowmobiling and hunting.

CBSA employees who reside in rural communities typically enjoy a lower cost of living, as well as a strong sense of community and living close to their workplace with no commuter rush hour.
