EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in physics, geology, chemistry or some other science relevant to the position.

Note: The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and must have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
• *Recent experience in conducting environmental compliance activities, such as audits, compliance promotion or the development and implementation of environmental managements systems.
• Experience in coordinating the implementation and monitoring of departmental projects and programs.

*Recent experience is defined as your engagement in the performance of these duties within the last three (3) to five (5) years.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

EXPERIENCE ASSET
Experience in the development, or implementation of an Environmental Management System following the International Standards Organization 14001 (ISO 14001) requirements.
