In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical, civil, environmental, power, or water resources engineering technology, or some other engineering discipline relevant to the duties of the position, or an acceptable combination of post-secondary education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Eligible for certification or membership with a provincial or territorial association as a Certified Engineering Technologist or Engineer in Canada.

EXPERIENCE:
- Significant* and recent** experience supporting the planning, design, construction and management of community building and municipal infrastructure projects, including but not limited to, water/water-water, schools/community buildings, roads, bridges and/or commercial property development.
- Significant* experience analysing and assessing technical data related to the operation and maintenance of community infrastructure assets and /facilities.

*Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with performance of the duties for a minimum period of two years.
**Recent experience means within the last 5 years.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Post-secondary degree in Engineering.
- Post-secondary certificate in Construction/Project Management or Materials & Operations Management.
- Project Management Certification (PMP/CAPM) from a recognized post-secondary institution.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working with First Nations and/or First Nation organizations/entities.
- Experience in construction and maintenance of education/community buildings and municipal infrastructure.
- Experience as a project officer responsible for developing and implementing technical project management plans involving multiple stakeholders.
