This position is located in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The salary range for this position is from $80,274 to $86,788, plus northern allowance (from $19,000 to $31,000 per year) and vacation travel assistance (approximately $2,000-$3,000 per person (i.e. per employee and each of the eligible dependent), twice per year).

This position is located in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The incumbent will be a member of the Human Resources unit, tasked with delivering programs and activities for the department as prescribed under Article 23 of the Nunavut Agreement with an overall objective of reaching a representative workforce.

The intent of this anticipatory process is to staff the Inuit Employment Advisor position.
A pool of qualified candidates might be created and may be used to staff similar or identical positions with various tenures (such as indeterminate, term or acting period) within federal departments and agencies located in the Nunavut Region.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience coordinating and leading meetings that include internal or external partners.
• Experience in providing advice and recommendations to clients.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Post-secondary education (certificate, diploma, or degree) in a program relevant to the position being staffed.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in providing Human Resources advice and recommendations.
• Experience working in a Northern environment.
ABILITY:
• Ability to communicate in Inuktut.
