Work environment

Created in November 2014, the Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada (ATSSC) is responsible for providing support services and facilities to 11 federal administrative tribunals by way of a single, integrated organization.

Intent of the process

The current process aims to staff positions on a determinate basis for a period of 6 months. However, this process may staff positions at a later date on an indeterminate basis.

A fully or partially assessed pool may be created and may be used to staff similar positions with various linguistic requirements, tenures and security clearances within the Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada (ATSSC).

Your résumé.

A covering letter in 1,500 words (maximum) "You must provide a cover letter in which you must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience criteria listed in the essential and asset qualifications (if applicable). Experience in the provision of administrative support services.

Experience in the use of MS-Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience scanning and entering data into a computerized, document management system.

General knowledge of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and its mandate.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

Recent* experience in providing administrative support services in a quasi-judicial or legal environment (for example, tribunal, court, commission, board, law or notaries firm).

Recent* experience using a scanner or digitization software.

*Recent experience is defined as being within the last three (3) years.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Willing and able to work overtime on short notice in the evening and/or on weekends.
