Because of its recent creation, Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) offers a dynamic framework that is open to transformation. With this in mind, ISC works collaboratively with many partners to improve access to high quality services for First Nations, Inuit and Métis. Our vision is to support and empower Indigenous peoples to independently deliver services and address the socio-economic conditions in their communities.

The Quebec Regional Office of Indigenous Services Canada is located in the Saint-Roch district, at the heart of downtown Quebec City. The regional office team is made up of nearly 180 employees, with a mix of professional profiles.

Intent of the process

This is an anticipatory process aiming to create a pool of qualified candidates. This pool could be used to staff positions with various duration as well as various linguistic and security requirements.

This pool could also be used to staff similar or identical positions in Indigenous Services Canada across Canada.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Stream 1

Successful completion of two years of postsecondary education in an acceptable field of studies OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience in providing advices on program or project management.
Experience in dealing, collaborating and maintaining relations with internal or external stakeholders.

Stream 2

Graduation with a degree from a recognized university OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience in providing advice and recommendations to stakeholders on questions linked to programs or projects.
Experience in co-ordinating and analysing complex cases.
Experience in producing documents or reports.
Experience in analysing and interpreting directives, laws or regulations.

Degree equivalency

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

A College diploma or an University degree in a Law related field.
