As an Organizational Development Advisor, you will have a leading role to play with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) managers and employees during organizational diagnostics, advices and group interventions. Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis. A pool of partially qualified candidates will be created and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures at various locations within the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada or by other government departments.

Current location: Phase III, Place du Portage in Gatineau, Quebec.
PLEASE NOTE: Our team will be temporarily re-locating to l’Esplanade Laurier, Downtown Ottawa, in Winter 2019.

EDUCATION:

- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCES:

- Significant experience* in providing organization development consulting services to enhance business performance.

- Significant experience* in assessing team dynamics or organizational culture and providing advice and recommendations to clients following these assessments.

- Significant experience* in developing and delivering workshops.

*Significant experience is normally acquired over a period of approximately two (2) years and more. Candidates should demonstrate the breadth and depth of the files handled.

- A master’s degree with acceptable specialization in organization development.
- Acceptable training in conflict resolution.

- Designing and delivering organization development services in the public service.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability and willingness to travel by yourself* to our different offices across Canada.

* The expression ‘to travel by yourself’ means to travel alone.
