ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Notes:
Candidates must always have a university degree. The courses for the specialization do not necessarily have to be part of a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience :
Experience in conducting qualitative or quantitative research.
Experience in writing research reports.
Experience in providing advice or recommendations to a supervisor/manager.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge :
Knowledge of Elections Canada's mandate.
Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods used in Social Sciences.
Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master’s degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in political science, sociology, marketing, communication, psychology, or public administration.
Experience:
Experience in programming in SPSS, STATA or SAS.
Experience in drafting survey questionnaires.
Experience in working with large-scale databases.
Experience in designing or conducting program evaluations.
Experience in developing performance measures and indicators.
ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS:
Willingness and ability to work overtime under short notice.
Reliability Status security clearance
Consent to observe strict political impartiality and neutrality for the duration of employment.
