This process aims to staff one indeterminate (permanent) position in Bagotville. However, a pool of qualified candidates will be established from this process and may be used to staff term (temporary) and indeterminate positions in Valcartier, Bagotville, St-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu and Montréal. Furthermore, this pool may be used to staff similar positions within the Department of National Defence (DND).

Education:
Degree in management, administration or a clinical field of study from a recognized university.
Experience:
* Significant management experience in the health care delivery field.
* Significant experience is defined as experience related to the implementation of a wide range of activities related to management in the health care delivery field which could normally be acquired over a full financial cycle with a minimum of absence, not exceeding a month.
Experience planning, developing or implementing a health care program.
Experience managing budgets.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary collaborative practice environments.
Experience working in an electronic information environment where business processes are computerized.
Experience managing human resources (performance review assessments, learning plan, syndicated environment, administrative and disciplinary actions, labour relation).

Knowledge:
Knowledge of health regulating agencies/bodies and their licensing requirements.

Ability:

Education:
Master’s degree in health care administration or health care management.
Training in a field closely related to the 25th Health Services Centre’s activities.
Occupational Certification:
Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation per the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.
Experience:
Experience working in primary health care services (i.e. one or more of: ambulatory care, preventive health care, patient education).
Experience working in diagnostic and therapeutic services (i.e. laboratory, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging, preventive medicine, physical therapy, community health).
Experience working in mental health services.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the organizational structure and service delivery mandate of the Canadian Forces Health Services (CFHS).
Organizational Needs:
