A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used in order to staff similar positions within the Canada Border Services Agency - Northern Ontario Region.

A secondary school diploma.

Degree equivalency

•Significant experience* in analyzing, developing real property solutions or accommodations through conducting client accommodation needs assessments, preparing scope of work or Statement of Requirements and office space analysis or planning.
•Experience in coordinating real property or accommodation initiatives such as preparing, managing and reviewing budgets and schedules and coordinating the work of multi-disciplinary teams.
•Experience in negotiating with clients on matters related to real property or accommodations.
•Experience in implementing office workplace standards and procedures.

* Significant experience is defined as a work experience acquired over a period of three (3) year.

Various language requirements

•Knowledge of Acts, Regulations, policies and procedures as they relate to Real Property and Infrastructure in the Federal Government.

•Ability to analyze and to make recommendations pertaining to real property and accommodations.

•Successful completion of a three (3) year Interior Design or Architectural Technologist program from a recognized Canadian post-secondary educational institution.

Degree equivalency

•Accreditation in the field of project or property management (Project Management Professional, Project Management Institute, Building Owners and Managers Association).

•Work experience with Public Works Government Services Canada (PWGSC) leasing related activities for the federal government of Canada.
•Experience in the management of federal government of Canada properties.
•Significant experience** in analyzing and developing real property solutions and/or accommodations within the federal government of Canada.
**Significant experience is defined as experience acquired over a period of three (3) year

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

•Possess and maintain a non-restricted and valid Driver’s licence.
•Willingness and ability to work overtime.
•Willingness and ability to travel.
