Delivery of specialized technical support services for the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and use of building facilities, as well as project management support for construction/maintenance projects and architecture, interior design or engineering activities and for the implementation of various technical services programs in Correctional Service Canada (CSC) facilities.
A pool of qualified candidates will be created following this process, and may be used to staff similar positions for indeterminate appointments, term appointments, acting appointments, casual, deployments, assignments and secondments in the Atlantic Region and/or other regions within Canada.

Education
Graduation with a college diploma in engineering technology, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience in construction or project management.
Experience
Experience analyzing and interpreting building construction drawings, specifications, and other related technical documents.
Experience planning and managing building construction projects and/or contracts.
Experience writing technical scopes of work related to construction.
English essential
Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC

Graduation with a degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering.
Project Management Certification (PMP) or Possession of professional designation related to project management from a recognised institution.
Either eligibility for, or in receipt of, applicable provincial certification required to perform the duties of the position.

Experience using computer aided drafting and design software (example: AutoCAD).
Experience developing requests for project proposals.
