The main responsibilities of a dissemination officer are:
• Respond to entry-level inquiries and redirect more complex issues to the appropriate focal points.
• Help the public navigate our website to find different Statistics Canada products and services.
• Reset the passwords of our respondents.
• Validate the legitimacy of a survey or an interviewer.

Our offices are located downtown, in the Guy-Favreau Complex (200 René-Lévesque Boulevard West, Montreal QC).
A pool of qualified candidates will be created and will be used to staff positions of various tenures (determinate and/or Indeterminate) in the Contact-Us Center.

Your résumé.
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Customer service experience
Experience using MS Word, MS Excel and an electronic messaging software.
Be able to conduct searches on the Statistics Canada website and relay the information found.
Successful completion of two years of post-secondary school training with specialization in Social Sciences or Statistics.
Recent and significant experience* working in a call center.
* Recent and significant experience is defined as duties performed full-time for one year within the last 3 years.
