The immediate need is to staff two (2) indeterminate positions.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established. This process may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures, linguistic profiles and levels, and security clearance levels, within Library and Archives Canada.

EXPERIENCE
Recent* experience in provision of administrative services in an office environment such as, without being limited to: maintaining files, preparation of communications and information verification.
Recent* experience in the use of the Microsoft Office such as, without being limited to: Excel, Word, Outlook .
Recent* experience in providing client services.
*Recent is normally associated with performance of the duties on a continuous and full time basis over a period of approximately 1 year in the last 5 years.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

ASSET EDUCATION
Diploma of Vocational Studies in a field related to the position such as, without being limited to: Administration or accounting.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
Experience in using an electronic files management system such as, without being limited to: SharePoint or GcDocs.
Experience in using and maintaining a human resources management system (i.e. SGRH, SIRH, MyGCHR, Peoplesoft, etc.)
Experience creating and maintaining electronic files.
Experience as human resources assistant in an operational environment.
Experience in driving a automobile vehicle.
Reliability Status security clearance
Applicants must complete the Unsupervised Internet Test of Cognitive Ability - Level 1 as part of the screening for this selection process. This test assesses general problem solving and reasoning ability. You will have 60 minutes to complete the test. You must complete the test before you submit your application for this position.
